Flat has had the pleasure of working with the New York Road Runners, the organization that manages the ING New York City Marathon, for four consecutive years to create the concept and produce the ad campaign for the marathon. Flat utilized NYRR's rich photo archive and simple, clean typography to create fresh and approachable campaigns for this most beloved New York City tradition.

Flat produced the design for the out of home campaign which included bus and phone kiosks, buses, subways, rail stations, mugs, t shirts and various merchandising products, the supporting website, the banners along the race route and on some years the finish line.
