The website for MoMA’s current exhibit, ‘Home Delivery: Fabricating the Modern Dwelling’, is the first MoMA exhibition website that is something more than a static re-presentation of exhibition materials. For the months leading up to the opening of the exhibit five architecture firms installed five prefabricated dwellings at the museum. During the construction process participating architects published updates and background on their progress to the website. This, coupled with the interactive timeline of prefabrication’s history, has made the website the most heavily trafficked exhibition website in MoMA’s fourteen year online history.
